Blomquist Hale Employee Assistance Program
As we enter into the fourth year since the Employee Assistance Program was implemented, we want to remind members of services the UMCA and UA Local 140 have secured through the services of Blomquist Hale. All UMCA contractors and their employees are covered under this program, even those who do not receive their health benefits from the Utah Pipe Trades. While the Employee Assistance Program is an integral part of the UMCA & UA Local 140’s Drug Testing Program, there are many additional services available to our members. Some of those include:
- Face-to-Face Therapy: Individual, Marital & Relationship, and Family Counseling
- 24/7 Crisis Intervention
- Behavioral Wellness Assistance
- Grief or Loss Counseling
- Financial or Legal Difficulties
- Substance Abuse & Other Addictions
- Supervisor/Manager Training: Leadership Training
- Onsite Crisis Intervention
- Customizable Training

We encourage all UMCA members to familiarize themselves with the EAP and to educate their employees about the resources available through the program.
