Despite threatening clouds and a strong downpour at the end of the day, the UMCA Golf Tournament was held on July 16 at the Jeremy Golf and Country Club.  This year’s tournament boasted over 90 participants, a buffet dinner and awards ceremony, many prizes for winners, and a raffle at the end of the tournament.  The team that took first place in the tournament was the team of Tyler Hunt, Tad Hunt, Lynn Hansen, and Steve Sheppard.  In second place was the team of Gary Carlton, Gordon Moss, Shawn Nordhoff, and Bryan Nordhoff.  There were many gaming holes in the tournament which were won by Rick Garcia, Melissa Hansen, Brian Nordhoff, Tyler Paulsen, Jeff Powell, and Nick Rickards.

The Lynch Family generously donated a Stainless Steel Portable Grill to raise money for the Weber State Student Chapter Scholarship Fund in the name of Jack D.
